In today’s world, so many of us are using our phones to capture memories daily. If you don’t have a backup running regularly on your phone, you risk losing all your photos at any given moment. I’ve seen so many people lose their photos after a phone stops working for whatever reason. And it can be devastating.
Most phones have an automatic feature to their cloud either through the phone manufacturer or the service you use. I always recommend you have a third-party backup, though.
On iPhones, setting up a backup to your iCloud is a popular option.
On Androids, I recommend that you enable photo backup through Google Photos. This option also allows you to free up space on your phone because, with just a few clicks, Google Photos will automatically remove the photos from your home that are already backed up in the Google cloud.
Backing up to Google Photos also works on iPhones, iPads, and computers.
